Phuong is a former Senior Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Babson College and Seasonal Reader at Boston University. 

Phuong received her bachelor’s in English from the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she also spent time working in the Advising Office. It was here that she discovered her passion for working with students. She went on to earn her master’s in higher education administration from Boston College and completed graduate assistantships at MIT, the College of the Holy Cross, and Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Phuong went on to work at Babson College as a Senior Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions, where she read applications from all over the world but specialized in applicants from Florida, Massachusetts, and Southeast Asia. Phuong also evaluated transfer applications and served on various scholarship committees. She also planned Babson’s Preview Days and the annual fall fly-in program, where prospective applicants had the opportunity to stay overnight with Babson students and attend classes on-campus.

After her time at Babson College, Phuong went on to work as a Seasonal Reader at Boston University, where she evaluated applicants from the U.S., Asia, and Europe. In addition to these experiences, Phuong has worked with numerous non-profits to guide students through the college application process.

Phuong currently resides in Boston, where you can find her trying out the newest restaurants and reading the latest fantasy series.
